IOF troops kill more Palestinians as they continue aggressions on Gaza

Tuesday 5-February-2008

GAZA (PIC)– Two more Palestinian citizens were killed with IOF troops’ bullets at dawn Tuesday after the Israeli occupation army advanced briefly into the Shoka town south of Gaza Strip and clashed with Palestinian resistance fighters who repelled the incursion.

Palestinian medical sources identified the fatalities as Mahmoud Abu Taha and Bakr Abu Rjal both fighters of the Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas Movement according to well-informed Palestinian sources.

The two new fatalities brought to seven the number of Palestinian citizens killed by the Israeli occupation army in Gaza Strip and the West Bank in less than 24 hours.

On Monday two Palestinian fighters detonated themselves in an Israeli gathering of settlers in the Israeli city of Dimona in the Negev desert south of occupied Palestine in an apparent retaliation to the IOF crimes against the Palestinian people. Three Israelis were reportedly perished in the “retaliatory” attack.

At dawn Monday and prior to the Dimona attack the IOF troops killed two Palestinian fighters from the Quds Brigades the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad in the West Bank town of Kabatia south of Jenin city and seriously wounded a third one.

In Ramallah city Palestinian citizen Ali Hassan Al-Fakeeh 44 succumbed to a heart attack after the IOF troops forced him to wait for long time at an IOF barrier near Na’alin town west of the city as he was on his way to work in the 1948-occupied Palestinian lands.

Mustafa Al-Fakeeh the victim’s brother blamed the IOF troops for the death of his brother charging that Israeli occupation soldiers left hi brother suffering of the heart attack at the roadside without giving him a helping hand although they knew that he was an ordinary worker searching for the sustenance of his family.

“They (Israeli occupation soldiers manning the checkpoint) remained passive and called the ambulance only after they made sure that he was a lifeless body” Fakeeh furthermore underlined.

The victim according to the brother was in good health condition and had no history of illnesses. He is survived by a wife and six children he added.

Meanwhile two armed wings of the Palestinian resistance took the credit for unleashing two homemade missiles at the Israeli settlement of Sderot Tuesday morning.

The Mujahideen Brigades in Palestine and the Popular Resistance Committees issued a joint statement confirming their responsibility for the rocket attack asserting that the attack was in revenge to the vicious IOF troops’ crimes against the Palestinian people and resistance leaders.
