NAZARETH (PIC)– A violent explosion rocked the usually quiet city of Dimona in the heart of the Negev desert on Monday morning leaving many Israelis either killed or injured Hebrew press reported.
The press sources said that initial reports indicated that three people were killed in a mall in Dimona city and added that two Palestinian commandos were supposed to carry out the bombing but one of them was killed by an Israeli officer before he detonated himself.
The press quoted police reports as saying that ten Israelis were wounded and that ambulance vehicles were rushed to the scene.
Israeli reports also indicated that the human bombers might have booby-trapped gas cylinders inside the mall before blasting them.
