14 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails have been on open-ended hunger strike for several days in protest at their detention administratively with no indictments or trials.
The hunger-striking prisoners are Salem Zaidat Mohamed A’amar Mujahed Hamed Mahmoud al-Fasfous Kayed al-Fasfous Ra’fat al-Darawish Guevara an-Nammoura Maher Dalaysha Aladdin Khaled Ahmed Abdul-Rahman Mohamed Khaled Husam Rab’iee Fadi al-Amour Ahmed Nazzal.
They are being held in different jails namely Negev Ramon Ofer and Megiddo.
Most of the administrative detainees nearly 540 Palestinians are ex-detainees who already spent years in Israeli jails.
Administrative detention is incarceration without trial or charge and is widely used by Israel against the Palestinians solely at the pretext that a person plans to commit a future offense. It has no time limit and it is based on alleged secret files.
