Groups of Jewish settlers resumed their storming of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque for the second time on Monday the Day of Arafa.
The Israeli police equipped with anti-riot gear were deployed in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque to secure the settlers’ incursion.
On Monday morning dozens of settlers broke into the Mosque in a new escalation and a dangerous precedent.
On Sunday more than 1600 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli police who attacked the Muslim worshipers in the Mosque and its courtyards.
