Israeli occupation forces (IOF) seized on Sunday a bulldozer while a citizen was using it to reclaim agricultural lands south of al-Khalil.
Fuad Al-Amour the coordinator of the Protection and Steadfastness Committee in Masafer Yatta said that IOF confiscated the bulldozer owned by Nader Al-Rajabi while he was working to reclaim Akram Abu Sneina’s land in the Birin area under the pretext that the area is classified as C.
On Saturday IOF raided Birin village and prevented Musa Makhamra and other workers from building a retaining wall in the vicinity of his 6 dunums land and declared it a closed military zone.
Khirbet Birin is constantly exposed to attacks by IOF and settlers with the aim of expelling citizens and seizing its lands to expand the nearby Bani Hefer settlement.
