Hundreds of settlers stormed on Friday morning Wadi Al-Fara’a town south of Tubas under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF).
Local sources reported that dozens of settlers broke into al-Hafriya area in Wadi Al-Fara’a and performed provocative Talmudic rituals.
The sources pointed out that the storming targeted the archaeological shrine of Houdha which is one of the historical shrines located between the villages of Al-Far’a Taluza and Yasid on an area of 40 dunums. The land belongs to the Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs.
In another development eyewitnesses said that clashes erupted in Beita town and the vicinity of Mount Sobeih on Thursday evening.
The IOF soldiers fired rubber bullets and tear gas canisters at the demonstrators near the Evyatar settlement outpost.
The youths of Beita set fire to car tires near the outpost built on the lands of the mountain according to the sources.
