The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday morning arrested a Palestinian citizen after he tried to cross the border fence into Israel.
A spokesperson for the Israeli army claimed that soldiers rounded up a Palestinian after he crossed into an Israeli border area in the south of the Gaza Strip.
The spokesperson added that the detainee was interrogated after searching him and finding no weapon with him.
In recent years many Palestinian citizens had been arrested during similar attempts to infiltrate into Israel through the border fence.
