Dozens of citizens were wounded on Friday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) suppressed demonstrations condemning the settlement activity in various areas in the West Bank.
IOF quelled a protest against the settlement expansion and the settlers’ repeated attacks on citizens and their property in Masafer Yatta village south of al-Khalil.
The participants performed Friday prayer on the lands of Umm al-Shaqhan which is threatened to be seized by settlers.
The participants raised the Palestinian flag and chanted slogans denouncing the occupation and its policy of ethnic cleansing against the families of Masafer calling on the international community and human rights institutions to fulfill their responsibilities in protecting the people and their properties and halt the continuous attacks by the IOF.
Meanwhile clashes erupted in the town of Kafr Qaddoum in Qalqilya after IOF attacked the weekly march denouncing the settlements activity.
