IOF uproots more than 200 olive trees east of Nablus

Monday 5-July-2021

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) uprooted on Monday more than 200 olive trees in the village of Beit Dajan east of Nablus.

Salim Abu Jaish a member of the Land Defense Committee in the village stated that IOF and the Civil Administration crews escorted bulldozers that destroyed 200 olive trees planted on an area of 15 dunums in the Al-Mawqa’a area east of the village. These trees were planted four years ago.

He explained that the IOF had earlier built a road from the middle of the destroyed land to serve the settlement outpost established by settlers in the Al-Thaqara area east of the village. The land which was destroyed by the IOF is estimated at 25000 dunums and it has been fenced since the establishment of the settlement outpost ten months ago.
