Israeli warplanes launched a series of air raids on the Gaza Strip on Thursday evening that mainly targeted resistance sites and open areas.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli warplanes fired two missiles at a resistance site in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza Strip after an Israeli army drone had fired a missile at the same site.
The warplanes also targeted another site for the resistance in Beit Hanun in northern Gaza and an area near a restaurant on the northern Gaza beaches they added.
The raids also targeted a resistance site in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The ministry of health in Gaza said that no casualties were reported in the raids that were launched in retaliation to the launching of incendiary balloons on Israeli settlements near the Gaza border according to the Hebrew media.
An Israeli TV channel reported on Thursday night that Israel had informed Cairo that unless the fire balloons stopped then the ceasefire will no longer exist. It added that Egypt was exerting feverish efforts to avoid a collapse in the fragile ceasefire.
