The Israeli occupation army on Wednesday morning said its soldiers arrested one Palestinian young man after he tried to cross into Israel.
A spokesperson for the Israeli army claimed that a Gazan young man was caught by border soldiers near the perimeter fence in the northern area of the Gaza Strip.
The soldiers searched the detainee found no weapons with him and interrogated him on-site.
The identity of the detained young man is still unknown.
Dozens of Palestinian citizens from Gaza are taken prisoners every year during their attempts to cross the border into Israel or to travel officially through the Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing.
