The Palestinian health ministry on Tuesday reported three new deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 258 new positive tests and 252 recoveries in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report two of the new victims who died of the virus are from the Gaza Strip and one from the West Bank.
13 critically ill COVID-19 patients are also receiving intensive care in hospitals and two of them have been placed on ventilators.
In addition another 19 patients are receiving medical care in hospitals and special COVID-19 treatment centers.
97.7 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 1.2 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.1 percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.
