Jewish settlers stormed on Tuesday morning the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed Talmudic rituals under the Israeli police protection.
Jerusalemite sources reported that 52 settlers defiled Al-Aqsa Mosque in groups from the Magharabi Gate and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards before leaving through Bab Al-Silsila.
The sources pointed out that the Israeli police secured the settlers’ incursions as they were deployed inside the Mosque’s courtyards its gates and the roads leading to it.
The occupation police impose strict security measures on Jerusalemites and the people of the 1948 occupied lands wishing to visit the holy Islamic site.
The settlers resumed their incursions early last week after almost three weeks of freeze following the 28th of Ramadan clashes and the response of the resistance and the popular uprising.
