Seven Gazans including kid killed in ongoing Israeli aggression

Monday 17-May-2021

At least seven Palestinian civilians including a child were killed late Monday morning in renewed air raids on different areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to medical sources one child was killed before noon when the Israeli occupation army bombed an area near al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza.

Israeli airstrikes also claimed the lives of three civilians as they were aboard a car at the junction of Abu Hasira in the west of Gaza City and two others in Abasan al-Jadeeda town (east of Khan Yunis) and al-Wehda neighborhood in Gaza City.

Several others reportedly suffered injuries in those aerial attacks but there was no immediate information about their number.

The new victims brings the death toll from Israel’s aggression against Gaza — which started on May 10 — to at least 200 Palestinians including 59 children and 35 women.

More than 1305 others have also been wounded so far amid the intensive Israeli attacks on Gaza.

The number of casualties is expected to rise as Israel has intensified its deadly attacks on the densely-populated coastal enclave.

Several areas of Gaza mainly Gaza City came under heavy aerial and artillery bombardment after midnight and throughout the dawn and morning hours of Monday.

The attacks also spread panic among families and caused widespread destruction to more civilian homes vehicles infrastructure and public and commercial facilities.
