Palestinian lawmaker Nayef al-Rajoub has expressed his confidence that the Israeli occupation state can never put down the Palestinian uprising for Jerusalem in the West Bank.
“The occupation is delusional if it thinks that the Palestinian people will raise the white flag. It they wanted to raise it they would have done so 73 years ago” MP Rajoub said in press remarks on Sunday.
The lawmaker described the Palestinian people’s uprising in the West Bank and the 1948 occupied lands (Israel) as “the least that can be done for their compatriots in Gaza” stressing that the issue of Jerusalem and its liberation belongs to the Palestinian people and the Muslim nation in their entirety.
He also condemned Israel’s intentional targeting of civilians and their homes and the heinous massacres in Gaza as “a reflection of Israel’s brutal mentality” and “its bankruptcy.”
