A large number of Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Friday stormed anew Turmus Ayya town in northern Ramallah and encircled and raided the house of Palestinian prisoner Muntaser Shalaby who was arrested on Wednesday.
Shalaby is held as a suspect in the recent drive-by shooting operation in the West Bank.
According to local sources the IOF raided the house of Shalaby and detained his family members inside a room before embarking on gathering more details and measurements of the house.
The sources said that military engineers prepared a detailed plan for the demolition of the house.
Meanwhile local youths clashed with Israeli soldiers who intensively fired live and rubber bullets and showered them with stun and tear gas canisters. There was no information if anyone was hurt during the events.
IOF soldiers had already stormed on Thursday morning Turmus Ayya village and took measurements of Shalaby’s house according to the Hebrew media.
Soldiers from the army engineering unit reportedly mapped the house yesterday as a prelude to preparing a plan to demolish it.
