Israeli occupation forces (IOF) violently quelled on Friday two anti-settlement marches in the West Bank injuring several Palestinian citizens.
In al-Mughayyir village to the northeast of Ramallah a march was launched denouncing the continued closure of the eastern entrance to the village for the 19th consecutive days and in commemoration of Land Day.
IOF suppressed the march and fired rubber bullets and tear gas canisters at the participants.
Six Palestinians were wounded by rubber-coated metal bullets and they were treated on the field while others suffered breathing problems.
Meanwhile dozens of the villagers confronted the IOF soldiers and their bulldozers with stones.
Al-Mughayyir village is always attacked by the IOF and its settlers with the aim of seizing its lands.
In Beit Dajan village east of Nablus IOF quelled an anti-settlement march and fired tear gas canisters at the participants. Several citizens were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets.
