Jewish settlers expanded an agricultural road in the al-Khamar area in Battir town west of Bethlehem on Thursday night under the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) protection.
Local sources reported that a group of settlers bulldozed lands to expand an agricultural road that leads to the Khamar lands specifically Khirbet Musa 100 meters long and 6 meters wide for settlement purposes.
Settlers had already set up mobile homes and tents in Al-Khamar area that were removed by the Palestinian citizens.
The Israeli occupation authority had established about 503 settlement outposts 474 in the West Bank and 29 in Jerusalem. Those settlements constitute more than 46% of the total area of the West Bank in which approximately 700000 settlers reside. Those settlers carry out almost daily attacks in the Occupied Palestinian territories.
