The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday forcibly closed businesses in Bab az-Zawiya neighborhood in central al-Khalil and assaulted Palestinian citizens in order to secure a march staged by extremist Jewish settlers.
According to local sources the IOF physically assaulted a number of citizens and arrested a young man as they tried to prevent the closure of commercial stores in Bab az-Zawiya.
Meanwhile the IOF escorted a march of settlers to an alleged Jewish tomb in Bab az-Zawiya where they performed rituals.
