The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday evening detonated a Palestinian-owned car at the main entrance to Aboud village and stormed Ras Karkar village in the west of Ramallah.
According to local sources the IOF blew up a car at the entrance to Aboud village after claiming that it might have contained explosives.
Eyewitnesses said that the IOF opened fire in the area and intensified its presence at the entrance to the village.
Meanwhile the IOF stormed Ras Karkar village and attacked young men after they participated in the funeral of martyr Khaled Nufal.
Local sources said that violent clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli soldiers in the village.
Earlier scores of Palestinian citizens attended the funeral of martyr Nufal in Ras Karkar village. Nufal was shot dead on February 5 2021 by a Jewish settler during his presence on Mount Risan near the village.
