Hamas Movement said on Friday that the martyrdom of a Palestinian citizen by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Beit Dajan village is a new “Zionist” crime and “brutal terror” against Palestinians.
Hazem Qassem Hamas’s spokesman stressed that “The Zionist crimes will always fuel our people’s revolutionary spirit.”
He added that the Palestinians will not stop resisting until the occupier leaves the entire Palestinian land.
On Friday afternoon Atef Hanaysha 48 was killed by IOF shooting in eastern Nablus.
Local sources reported that Hanaysha was seriously injured during the IOF suppression of the weekly march rejecting settlement in Beit Dajan and he was taken to Rafidia Hospital.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that Hanaysha had died of his injuries by live bullets in his head.
Hanaysha worked as a Moazzen (prayer caller) for the Musa Ibn Nusayr Mosque in Beit Dajan local sources said adding that he was a liberated prisoner and was also wounded by the IOF on a previous occasion.
