The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Friday that 21 deaths 1851 new cases of the coronavirus and 1794 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 89.3 percent while the rate of active infections reached 9.6 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The new cases were distributed as follows: Qalqilya 92 Tulkarem 166 Jenin 187 al-Khalil 395 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 228 Jerusalem suburbs 51 Nablus 290 Bethlehem 100 Salfit 41 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 19 Tubas 26 and the Gaza Strip 256 the ministry added.
It pointed out that there are 192 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 54 who have been placed on ventilators.
