The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Monday that 25 deaths 2298 new cases of the coronavirus and 1356 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 24 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: Tulkarem 4 Nablus 5 al-Khalil 5 Bethlehem 4 the suburbs of Jerusalem 1 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 4 and Jericho and Al-Aghwar 1 in addition to one death in the Gaza Strip.
The new cases were distributed as follows: Tulkarem 195 Qalqilya 92 Nablus 447 al-Khalil 540 Tubas 53 Bethlehem 167 Jerusalem suburbs 88 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 338 Salfit 47 Jenin 150 Jericho and Al Aghwar 15 and the Gaza Strip 166 the ministry added.
It noted that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 89.0 percent while the rate of active infections reached 9.9 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The ministry pointed out that there are 181 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 53 who have been placed on ventilators.
