The Palestinian health ministry on Sunday reported 15 new deaths associated with COVID-11 (coronavirus) 2142 new positive tests and 2169 recoveries in the West Bank Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report 12 of the new victims who died of the virus are from different areas of the West Bank two from Jerusalem and one from Gaza.
177 critically ill COVID-19 patients are also receiving intensive care in hospitals and 49 of them have been placed on ventilators.
89.3 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 9.6 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.1 percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.
