Israeli bulldozers demolished two Palestinian houses in Khirbet al-Dyouk west of Jericho on Monday.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) escorted bulldozers into the al-Dyouk area and demolished two homes belonging to Mahdi Abu Khalaf and Muhammad Kamal.
The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) have recently increased the distribution of demolition notices of Palestinians’ homes in Jericho in the central Jordan Valley. These demolitions aim to empty the region of its citizens and impose IOA control over the area.
Meanwhile the IOF delivered stop-work orders to residents of three houses in Zawata village west of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
Hafez Alawi the head of the Zawata Village Council said that the IOF raided the northwestern area of the village and notified them to stop construction work in three houses two of them are in their final stages of construction.
