IOF raids homes kidnaps Palestinians overnight in W. Bank and J’lem

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Sunday raided homes and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped a young man called Aref Marwan a resident of Kafr Qaddum town in Qalqilya at the Huwara checkpoint in southern Nablus.

In Bethlehem the IOF stormed Harmalat az-Zeer area and fired tear gas and stun grenades at local youths with no reported arrests.

In al-Khalil the IOF kidnaped a citizen identified as Ibrahim Abed al-Batat after ransacking his home in ad-Dhahiriya town.

Meanwhile the IOF chased a group of youths and raided homes in Muthalat Kharsa village south of Dura City in al-Khalil after its watchtower in the village was attacked with a homemade firebomb.

In Jerusalem violent clashes broke out after a large number of police forces and vehicles stormed Issawiya district. There was no information about arrests in the area.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Tuesday raided homes and kidnapped several Palestinian citizens in different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.

In Nablus the IOF stormed Burqa town and kidnapped two young men from their homes. They were identified as Amir Daglas and Ahmed Abu Amr.

The IOF also raided five homes in Budrus town west of Ramallah and confiscated an amount of money from one of them.

In al-Khalil several homes were ransacked during an IOF campaign in Beit Ummar town to the north and Wadi Abu Qatila area in the city.

The IOF did not carry out arrests during its campaigns in Ramallah and al-Khalil.

In Jerusalem the Israeli police rounded up seven Palestinians including a woman and five children from different areas.

Local sources reported that a young man called Ahmed Zahran from northwest of Jerusalem and a woman along with her two children from Kafr Aqab neighborhood were arrested and taken to an interrogation center in the holy city.

Three other children were taken prisoners during police raids on their homes in Ras al-Amud neighborhood of Silwan district south of the Aqsa Mosque.

The children were identified as Khaled Abu Qalbain 14 Mohamed al-Haymouni 12 and Abdullah al-Abbasi 13. They are accused of throwing stones at a settler outpost in Silwan.
