The Palestinian health ministry on Saturday reported 19 new deaths associated with COVID-11 (coronavirus) 2011 new positive tests and 1430 recoveries in the West Bank Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report 16 of the new victims who died of the virus are from different areas of the West Bank two from Jerusalem and one from Gaza.
146 critically ill COVID-19 patients are also receiving intensive care in hospitals and 38 of them have been placed on ventilators.
89.2 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 9.7 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.1 percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.
