IOF kidnaps several Palestinians overnight in W. Bank and J’lem

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Wednesday raided homes and kidnaped Palestinian citizens during campaigns in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

According to local sources the IOF stormed Jenin city and kidnaped senior Islamic Jihad official Bassam al-Saadi and his nephew Abdul-Rahman from their homes.

A young man identified as Ali Abu Baker was also kidnaped from his home in Ya’bad town west of Jenin.

Meanwhile a child was reportedly injured during violent clashes last night between local youths and Israeli forces in Jenin refugee camp.

In Ramallah the IOF kidnaped a young man identified as Areeb Dirweesh from his home in Birzeit town.

Another young man was also taken prisoner in Nablus city. He was identified as 20-year-old Nadhem Ashour.

The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank and raided homes with no reported arrests.

In Jerusalem police forces raided homes in Jabel Mukaber neighborhood and kidnaped two young men from the family of Obeidat.

They also kidnaped Jihad Abu Zanina head of the Women’s Center in Shuafat refugee camp east Jerusalem and raided the house of a young man called Ibrahim Hamed in the Wadi al-Joz (north of the Old City) shortly after releasing him.

Earlier police forces on Tuesday evening assaulted and kidnaped two brothers along with their sister as well as two young men near the Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem. They also assaulted other citizens in the area.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Thursday kidnaped several Palestinian citizens in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

According to local sources the IOF stormed al-Jalazon refugee camp in northern Ramallah and kidnaped three citizens from their homes. They were identified as Mohamed Sharaka 35 Mahmoud al-Ghaleed 17 and Mohamed Masarwah 19.

In Jenin the IOF kidnaped two citizens from their homes in the towns of Yamun and Qabatiya.

Two other young men identified as Yehya Wael and Yousef Arafa were kidnaped from their homes in Azzun town in Qalqilya and al-Deheisha refugee camp in Bethlehem.

Violent clashes with Palestinian youths reportedly happened during the IOF campaign in al-Deheisha camp.

The IOF also broke into and ransacked several homes in al-Asakra village in Bethlehem without making arrests.

In al-Khalil the IOF kidnaped senior Fatah official Yaser Zama’ra after raiding his home in Halhul city.

In Jerusalem police forces kidnaped eight citizens from Issawiya district Hizma town and Kafr Aqab town.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Wednesday kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during campaigns in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped three citizens from their homes in Tulkarem. Two of the detainees were identified as Mohamed Yousef 20 and Tayseer Abdul-Dayem 52 (both from Anabta town) and the third was identified as Yehya Odeh a 24-year-old from Tulkarem refugee camp.

In Nablus the IOF kidnaped a young man called Fares Ismat from his home in Asira ash-Shamaliya town.

A family source said that over 50 soldiers stormed the house of Ismat and wreaked havoc on its furniture before kidnaping him. The soldiers had dogs with them.

In Jerusalem police forces stormed last night Hizma town in the northeast of Occupied Jerusalem and kidnaped 16-year-old Abdul-Salam al-Khatib during his presence outside his home.

Five Jerusalemites including a young woman and father with his son were also taken prisoners during police raids on homes in Issawiya district east of the holy city.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Monday stormed different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens.

According to local sources Israeli soldiers who came from the illegal settlement of Halamish stormed Qarawat Bani Zeid village in Ramallah and kidnaped two young men from their homes. They were identified as Omar Raja and Nour Addin.

Two young men identified as Sa’id Abu Obeid and Hamada Abu Obeid were also taken prisoners during an IOF campaign in Jenin.

In Bethlehem the IOF kidnaped a teenager called Ayman al-Qaisi after raiding his home in Azza refugee camp.

Two others identified as Mousa Ja’ara 23 and Shadi Badawneh 32 were kidnaped from their homes in Aida refugee camp north of Bethlehem.

In Jerusalem Israeli police forces kidnaped five young men during the funeral of martyr Nour Shuqair who was shot dead by Israeli soldiers last Wednesday near the holy city.

The IOF also stormed Kafr Aqab town in east Jerusalem and kidnaped some citizens one identified as Ashraf al-Bashiti.

Other areas of the West Bank were also raided by the IOF with no reported arrests.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Tuesday kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens in Jerusalem and the West Bank and bulldozed street merchandise at the eastern entrance to Qalqilya.

According to local sources in Jerusalem a large number of Israeli police forces backed by aerial cover from a helicopter stormed Shu’afat refugee camp carried out on-site interrogations brutalized local residents and kidnaped two young men from their homes.

Police forces also stormed Beit Hanina town in Jerusalem and kidnaped a young man identified as Ahmed Abu Subeih after ransacking his home.

In the West Bank the IOF broke into and searched the house of ex-detainee Dawoud Saleh in Arura village northwest of Ramallah and handed him a summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet.

The IOF stormed al-Arroub refugee camp in al-Khalil where they kidnaped a 13-year-old kid called Wadie al-Ra’iee as well as a young man.

The IOF also raided several homes in al-Khalil city overnight and kidnaped a young man called Abdullah Abu Sneineh.

Meanwhile the IOF set up makeshift checkpoints at the main entrance to al-Fawwar refugee camp in southern al-Khalil and at the Halhul bridge in the south where they embarked on searching vehicles and checking IDs of passengers.

In Qalqilya the IOF bulldozed street merchandise belonging to several vendors at the eastern entrance to the city.

In Tulkarem the IOF kidnaped two young ex-detainees called Haitham Shahada and Saif Abu Labda from their homes in Tulkarem refugee camp.

Several military patrols also stormed Anabta town in eastern Tulkarem after the IOF was put on high alert at the nearby Annab crossing.

In Jericho a university student called Suleiman Nawajeh was taken prisoner following an IOF raid on his home in the city.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Wednesday stormed different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem and kidnaped at least 16 Palestinian citizens including two lawmakers.

According to local sources in Jerusalem Israeli police forces kidnaped four Jerusalemite citizens from their homes. They were identified as Mohamed Obeid Muaad al-Ash’hab Arafat Najeeb and Mustafa al-Tarhuni.

In the West Bank the IOF stormed Nur Shams refugee camp in the east of Tulkarem city and kidnaped a young man identified as Louay Abu Shuqair after raiding his home.

The IOF also stormed different areas of Ramallah and Bireh province and kidnaped eight citizens including MP Ahmed Attoun who has been living in Bireh since he was exiled from Jerusalem and MP Abdul-Jaber Faqha a resident of Ramallah city.

During its campaign in Bireh city the IOF delivered a summons against a citizen called Adham Abu Arqoub ordering him to turn himself in to the Israeli security authorities.

In Nablus the IOF kidnaped two brothers from the family of Eid during a campaign in Burin town.

Another young man was kidnaped by the IOF from his home in Jenin refugee camp. He was identified as Yousef al-Zubeidi.
