Dozens of Jewish settlers uprooted on Friday olive saplings from the lands of Kisan village east of Bethlehem.
Ahmed Ghazal the deputy chairman of Kisan Council said that a group of settlers under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) uprooted 20 olive seedlings from the land of Ayoub Abayat near Ibi Hanahl settlement east of Bethlehem.
Ghazal added that the villagers confronted the settlers and prevented them from continuing to uproot other saplings.
Kisan has been exposed over the past months to attacks by IOF and settlers the last of which was the delivery of Israeli notices to stop construction for two houses.
