A number of Israeli army vehicles on Wednesday infiltrated into an agricultural area in the east of Khan Yunis City in southern Gaza amid sporadic shooting.
According to local sources three armored bulldozers and four tanks advanced from a military post behind the security fence into an agricultural area in the east of Khan Yunis and embarked on bulldozing swaths of land and making mounds of dirt.
Israeli forces also fired live ammunition and smoke grenades intermittently to provide cover for the infiltrating units.
The eastern border areas of Gaza are repeatedly exposed to Israeli military incursions and gunfire attacks which prevent hundreds of farmers from working their lands near the security fence.
