Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Sunday that 3 deaths 804 cases of the coronavirus and 522 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours. She added that 5177 examinations were conducted.
Kailah confirmed that two deaths were recorded in the West Bank: Ramallah 1 al-Khalil 1 and one death in the Gaza Strip.
She noted that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 93.3 percent while the rate of active infections reached 5.6 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The new infections were distributed as follows: al-Khalil 131 the suburbs of Jerusalem 46 Jenin 64 Qalqilya 20 Salfit 62 Bethlehem 82 Nablus 78 Tulkarem 43 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 12 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 188 Tubas 2 and the Gaza Strip 74 the ministry added.
Kailah pointed out that there are 60 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 21 who have been placed on ventilators.
