Palestinian citizens performed Friday prayer at the Humsa al-Fawka hamlet in Jordan Valley that was razed by Israeli occupation forces (IOF).
The Friday prayer was called for by the Tubas governor Fatah movement national factions and anti-wall and the anti-settlement committee in the province to confront the IOF plans to displace the hamlet’s inhabitants by force.
The IOF demolished the hamlet four times over the past week leaving 14 families homeless.
The UN had denounced the Israeli demolition of the entire hamlet three months ago describing it as one of the biggest forced displacement schemes in years.
The anti-wall and anti-settlement committee declared a permanent sit-in at the hamlet to foil the IOF scheme to appropriate its land and displace its inhabitants.
