The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Sunday afternoon that 3 deaths 470 new cases of the coronavirus and 430 recoveries were recorded after conducting 2875 examinations during the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 94.0 percent while the rate of active infections reached 4.9 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The new deaths were distributed as follows: 1 Jenin 1 Beit Iza 1 Al-Ram in the suburbs of Jerusalem while no deaths were reported in the Gaza Strip.
The new infections were recorded geographically as follows: 298 cases in the West Bank and 172 cases in the Gaza Strip the ministry added.
The ministry noted that the new recoveries were divided into 245 in the Occupied West Bank and 185 in the Gaza Strip.
It pointed out that there are 63 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 15 who have been placed on ventilators.
