The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Friday that 5 deaths 722 new cases of the coronavirus and 813 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 94.0 percent while the rate of active infections reached 4.9 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The new infections were distributed as follows: Jerusalem suburbs 29 Salfit 23 al-Khalil 30 Tulkarem 12 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 141 Qalqilya 4 Bethlehem 11 Tubas 15 Nablus 57 Jenin 18 Gaza Strip 268 and Jerusalem 205 the ministry added.
It pointed out that there are 61 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 17 who have been placed on ventilators.
