Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched on Tuesday night and at dawn Wednesday a large-scale campaign of raids and arrests in different areas of the West Bank.
Local sources reported that IOF soldiers arrested 5 Palestinians ranging in age from 16 to 29 years after raiding and searching their families’ houses in Tekoa town in Bethlehem.
Activist Ahmed Salah stated that IOF had notified the demolition of a house and retaining walls at the Abu Al-Yusr site in the Fagor area west of Al-Khader town in southern Bethlehem.
He pointed out that the IOF had demolished about 20 houses in different areas of Al-Khader lands since 2021.
The director of the Palestinian Prisoner club in Jenin Montaser Sammour stated that IOF arrested Muhammad Saba’na 27 after storming the town and searching his family’s house.
In al-Khalil local sources said that IOF arrested Muhammad Ghattasha 22 and Ibrahim Abu Awad 20 from Al-Fawwar refugee camp after breaking into their homes and tampering with their contents.
Meanwhile media activist Muhammad Awad stated that IOF raided several areas in Beit Ummar town and arrested the young men Izzat Awad and Ibrahim Abu Ayyash.
In Nablus the IOF soldiers arrested five civilians while Jewish settlers stormed the Joseph Tomb.
Eyewitness said that dozens of settlers stormed the Joseph Tomb in the eastern region of Nablus under IOF protection which led to the outbreak of clashes with locals in the area.
Furthermore the sources noted that IOF arrested Azzam Jawabreh from a coffee shop in the northern Nablus town of Asira.
Muhammad Azim Sebastia Mayor confirmed that IOF soldiers broke into the town and raided several homes and arrested four young men aged between 19 to 20 years.
In Salfit local sources said that IOF arrested the lawyer Hussam Al-Deek and seized his mobile phone after storming his house in Kafr El-Deek and tampering with its contents.
In Tulkarem IOF arrested four young civilians three of them from the suburb of Shweika north of Tulkarem and one from the city after raiding and searching their houses according to local sources.
In Occupied Jerusalem Hizma Media Center said that the Israeli police arrested 5 citizens of the town of Hizma northeast of Jerusalem including two brothers one of them is a minor.
The occupation police broke into the houses of these young Palestinians tampered with their contents and attacked the family of one of them by spraying pepper gas and three of them suffered breathing difficulty.
