Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Monday that 5 deaths 470 new infections of the coronavirus and 729 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
Kailah confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that two deaths were recorded in Tubas two in Qalqilya and one death in Bethlehem.
She stated that the new cases were distributed as follows: Salfit 17 Tulkarem 39 Nablus 64 the suburbs of Jerusalem 18 Tubas 12 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 8 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 70 Bethlehem 14 al-Khalil 23 Qalqilya 4 Jenin 11 and the Gaza Strip 190 noting that 4078 examinations were conducted.
The new recoveries were recorded according to the following: Salfit 20 Tulkarem 48 Nablus 95 the suburbs of Jerusalem 0 Tubas 4 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 6 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 51 Bethlehem 40 al-Khalil 19 Qalqilya 8 Jenin 26 and the Gaza Strip 412 the minister added.
She noted that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 93.6 percent while the rate of active infections reached 5.3 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
Kailah pointed out that there are 61 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 12 who have been placed on ventilators.
