Jewish settlers attacked on Sunday Palestinian shepherds in the Al-Tha`la neighborhood east of Yatta south of al-Khalil.
Fuad Al-Amour the coordinator of the Protection and Steadfastness Committee in the south of al-Khalil said in press statements that a group of Maon and Karmiel settlers which are built on citizens’ lands east of Yatta attacked the shepherds in the Al-Tha`la area in Masafer Yatta barred them from entering pastures and attacked their sheep.
He pointed out that targeting the shepherds and preventing them from accessing pastures aim to fight the shepherds in their livelihood.
The livestock is the only source of income for hundreds of Palestinian families and at this time of the year they depend on pastures to feed their sheep Amour pointed out.
