Wednesday 6-January-2021

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday morning uprooted hundreds of olive trees and saplings from groves in the West Bank village of Deir Ballut west of Salfit city.

According to local sources the IOF closed the western side of the village which is known as Khilat al-Abhar area and embarked on uprooting over 1000 olive trees and saplings from groves belonging to local residents.

In a separate incident Jewish settlers on the same day used their cows to wreak havoc on swaths of cultivated land in Khirbet Samra hamlet in the northern Jordan Valley.

Local official Aref Daraghmeh said that settlers from the illegal outpost of Abu al-Qandoul let a herd of cows graze on swaths of land planted with crops belonging to Palestinian citizens living in Khirbet Samra hamlet.
