The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday evening prevented Palestinian farmers from the West Bank towns of Qaryut and Jalud in the south of Nablus from reclaiming their agricultural lands.
According to local sources Israeli soldiers escorting officers from the Israeli army’s civil administration forced the farmers to stop cultivating their plots of land and ordered them to fence them.
Recently a horde of extremist settlers under military protection attacked Palestinian agricultural lands in the area and wreaked havoc on their trees and crops.
The settlers also set up an outpost for themselves on a nearby hill overlooking Palestinian towns in the area.
