Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Saturday that 21 deaths 1306 new infections with the coronavirus and 1400 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours.
Kailah confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the new infections were recorded as follows: Tulkarem 61 Salfit 30 Jerusalem suburbs 65 Nablus 68 Tubas 15 Bethlehem 47 Ramallah 103 Qalqilya 16 al-Khalil 43 Jenin 61 Jericho 5 and Gaza Strip 792.
She stated that 9 deaths were recorded in the West Bank and 12 deaths in the Gaza Strip.
The recovery rate of coronavirus reached 82.9 percent while the rate of active infections reached 16.2 percent and the death rate was 0.9% of all infections she elaborated.
Kailah pointed out that there are 121 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 30 who have been placed on ventilators.
