The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday prevented Palestinian citizens from planting olive trees on Palestinian-owned swaths of land in Jalud village south of Nablus.
Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that the IOF barred local residents from Jalud from planting several olive trees in an area located near the village school at the pretext the area is Israeli state land.
Daghlas affirmed that all the villagers were intending to plant the trees on privately owned land belonging to local residents.
