The Hamas Movement organized on Tuesday a popular rally outside the UNRWA headquarters in Beirut on the occasion of the World Refugee Day.
Palestinian refugees from Lebanon and Syria and representatives of Palestinian factions popular committees and social institutions participated in the gathering.
During the event senior Hamas official Abu Ahmed Fadel delivered a speech that highlighted the difficult economic and social conditions the Palestinian refugees suffer from.
He reiterated his Movement’s rejection of any plan aimed at liquidating the issue of the Palestinian refugees and called for implementing the international resolutions related to their right to return to their homes.
