Wednesday 16-December-2020

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday confiscated two agricultural tractors in az-Zubaidat village north of Jericho city with no reason.

According to local sources the IOF seized two tractors used for agricultural purposes during their presence at the main entrance to the village.

The tractors belonged to two local farmers identified as Fadi Abdullah and Mansour Hasan.

In a separate incident a horde of extremist Jewish settlers on the same day rebuilt a room on a swath of Palestinian land in Baqaa area in the east of al-Khalil city.

The landowner Aref Jaber said that the settlers rebuilt a room after local residents demolished it a few days ago in the area which is no far from the illegal settlement of Kiryat Arba.

Jaber appealed to local and international human rights groups to intervene to provide protection for Palestinian citizens and their property in the occupied West Bank.

Another group of settles also deployed tents on Mount al-Jumjuma in Halhul town north of al-Khalil.

A few months ago hundreds of settlers stormed al-Jumjuma area which overlooks Road 60 erected Israel flags and chanted slogans against Arabs and calling for seizing the mount.

The land of Mount al-Jumjuma is owned by Palestinian citizens from al-Khalil.
