The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Monday demolished several small homes in the Palestinian village of az-Za’ayyem in east Jerusalem.
According to local sources bulldozers escorted by Israeli forces removed residential sheds and displaced their residents.
The structures belonged to the families of Amran and Murad Za’atara.
The residents of az-Za’ayyem village live in an area encircled and isolated by an Israeli separation wall a military checkpoint and a gate controlling their movement.
