Hassan Yousef a leader of Hamas affirmed on Monday that national unity and activating the option of resistance were the only feasible means to protect the Occupied West Bank from the ever-increasing settlement plans and the fait accompli policy pursued by the Israeli occupation authorities (IOA).
Sheikh Yousef stated in a press statement that the option of national unity has proven its ability to protect the Palestinian constants while facing the deal of the century and the annexation project announced by the IOA.
He pointed out that Hamas always took the initiative in seeking unity and participating in conferences rejecting the US administration’s projects to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
Yousef emphasized that returning to negotiations with Israel is a mistake. “This allows the IOA to gain more time to Judaize the West Bank and increase the number of settlers in it” he added.
