The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided on Sunday night and at dawn Monday several areas in West Bank and broke into the homes of members in the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) among others.
In Nablus IOF raided several neighborhoods in the city concentrated in the western regions arrested several citizens and interrogated others.
Local sources reported that an Israeli force stormed the areas of Zwata and al-Ma’ajin surrounded many homes inhabited by PLC members and interrogated them.
The IOF soldiers raided the house of the PLC member Yasser Mansour smashed the entrance to his house and interrogated and threatened him.
IOF also broke into the house of PLC member Sheikh Ahmed Al-Hajj Ali in Al-Sikka street and he was also handed a threatening letter.
IOF arrested the released prisoner Alaa Humaidan who is a former president of the student council at the An-Najah University.
Clashes erupted between dozens of Palestinian youths and the IOF soldiers during their storming of the western region of the city.
In Salfit an occupation force stormed the house of the ex-prisoner Abdullah Shatat in Bidya town.
In al-Khalil IOF raided Al-Arroub refugee camp north of al-Khalil and arrested the ex-prisoner Louay Ghaith after breaking into his house.
In Ramallah violent confrontations erupted after the IOF soldiers stormed Kober town.
IOF raided Abu Shukheidem town Ramallah district and searched the house of Qassam Al-Khatib.
Meanwhile two civilians one of them a child were wounded by Israeli gunfire on Sunday evening during the IOF incursion into the Shweika suburb north of Tulkarem.
Tulkarem Governmental Hospital reported that it treated two injuries by live bullets from the suburb of Shweika. One case was for a 15-year-old child who was hit with a bullet in his knee. The other injury was for an 18-year-old youth in addition to others who suffered breathing difficulty due to the excessive use of teargas on the part of the IOF soldiers.
On Sunday evening confrontations also broke out between Palestinian citizens and IOF soldiers in Bab Al-Zawiya in the center of al-Khalil.
Local sources stated that clashes erupted between the Palestinians and the IOF soldiers who stationed at the military checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Shuhada street. No injuries were reported.
Furthermore IOF arrested on Sunday evening a young man from Arraba town south of Jenin at a military checkpoint.
Montaser Sammour the director of the prisoner club in Jenin stated that IOF arrested Muhammad Issam Hammad from Arraba town while he was passing through Zaatara military roadblock south of Nablus.
