The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Monday morning embarked on carrying out a bulldozing activity near the entrance of the Yusufiya cemetery in the Old City of Jerusalem
Head of the Islamic cemeteries committee Mustafa Abu Zahra said that an Israeli municipal crew stormed the area and bulldozed the area near the entrance of the Yusufiya cemetery.
He added that several local residents intervened but they failed to prevent the municipal crew from destroying the area.
About a week ago the IOA demolished the cemetery’s stairway and fence with no regard for the Islamic inviolability of the place.
