The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Wednesday that 23 deaths and 1883 new cases of the coronavirus and 1636 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health stated in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 16 deaths were recorded in the West Bank and seven deaths in the Gaza Strip.
The minister noted that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 76.7 percent while the rate of active infections reached 22.4 percent and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.
Kailah pointed out that there are 84 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 25 who have been placed on ventilators.
