The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Monday that 20 deaths 1720 new infections of coronavirus and 1280 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours.
It added in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 10 new COVID-19 victims were recorded in the West Bank as follows: Bethlehem 2 Nablus 1 Tulkarem 1 al-Khalil 3 Jenin 2 Qalqilya 1 in addition to 10 deaths in the Gaza Strip.
The new infections were distributed according to the following: al-Khalil 247 Jenin 199 Nablus 247 Tulkarem 81 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 196 Salfit 32 Qalqilya 41 Tubas 39 Bethlehem 122 the suburbs of Jerusalem 38 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 7 and the Gaza Strip 471.
The new cases of recovery were recorded as follows: al-Khalil 68 Jenin 88 Nablus 345 Tulkarem 97 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 128 Salfit 79 Qalqilya 54 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 16 and the Gaza Strip 405.
The ministry stated that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 76.4 percent while the rate of active infections reached 22.8 percent and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.
It pointed out that there are 76 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 18 who have been placed on ventilators.
