The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Friday that 9 deaths 1936 new cases of coronavirus and 719 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry stated in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 79.4 percent while the rate of active infections reached 19.7 percent and the death rate was 0.9% of all infections.
It added that the new cases were distributed as follows: al-Khalil 137 Nablus 190 Bethlehem 106 Qalqilya 57 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 122 Jenin 135 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 14 Salfit 14 Tulkarem 86 Tubas 75 Jerusalem suburbs 32 and the Gaza Strip 922.
The ministry pointed out that there are 57 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 8 who have been placed on ventilators.
